Research Coverage Decision-Making Policy
Research coverage decision making is the responsibility of the
Research Coverage Committee, which is chaired by the Head of
Research and is comprised of the Head of Research Services, the
Retail Managing Director, the Managing Director and the Head of
Compliance. The Committee reviews each Research Analyst's coverage
universe and makes decisions on stocks to be added or subtracted
from such coverage. Some of the criteria used in making these
coverage decisions are the number of Clients that hold a particular
stock, the overall percentage of a stock's free float which
Client's hold, the business the Company has transacted in the stock
and the potential for the Company to do further business in the
stock. Consideration will also be given to the extent to which
coverage is provided by other Research to which the Company has
access.
